General election 2024
Councillor Laura Manston has been selected as our candidate for the next General Election.
Laura was elected as Sevenoaks District Council's member for Ash & New Ash Green ward in May 2023, where she is Leader of the Green Group. Laura has sat on various committees including Planning, Scrutiny and the Health Liaison Board.
Laura is also Co-Chair of Kent Greens and a member of the South East Greens committee. At the Local Government Association, Laura sits on the Community Wellbeing Board.

In addition to her councillor duties, Laura dedicates much of her time to community projects and has developed excellent connections across the district and beyond. She is a founder member of Sevenoaks Climate Action Network, Kent Climate Action Coalition and a sitting member of the Co Op National Members' Council.

A keen advocate for democracy, equity and inclusion, Laura is passionate about representing the people of Sevenoaks at Parliament.
